by Peter Lang One of my favourite super hero movies of all time is Hancock.
So I was obviously pleased to find out that work on a sequel is finally underway in Hollywood with Columbia Pictures hiring screenwriters Adam Fierro and Glen Mazzara to write Hancock 2.
Will Smith is expected to return once again in the title role.
Also returning to direct the sequel is original Hancock Director Peter Berg but it's still uncertain as to whether Charlize Theron will appear in the new movie.
The details of the final plot are being kept a top secret but writers Fierro and Mazzara are expected to show a little bit more of Hancock's back story and possibly even the world he came from.
For those of you who have never heard of either Fierro and Mazzara, apparently both worked together on the hit TV show "The Shield".
Personally, I can't wait. Hancock 2 is expected to hit our screens sometime in 2011.
